A Grateful Honour: Receiving the King Charles III Coronation Medal

Earlier this month, I was honoured to receive a King Charles III Coronation medal at a special celebration at Government House BC.
Presented by B.C. Lieutenant Governor Wendy Coccia on behalf of Governor General Mary Simon, this medal recognizes significant contributions to British Columbia and Canada. Among the occasion’s honourees, I was thrilled to meet Kim Campbell, Canada’s first and only female
Prime Minister. Sincere gratitude to my colleagues at the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award for nominating me for this accolade.
Thank you as well to my beautiful wife Louise for being an ever-present force of love and support in my life, and for sharing this auspicious occasion with me. Hearty congratulations to fellow medal recipients and (past and present) Duke of Ed colleagues David Bird, Noordin Karmali and John McNeill.
